Hi
Ich (bzw mein Vater) habe folgendes Problem:
Wenn der PC per LAN im Netz ist, kann ich ganz normal per Outlook 2007 e-mails von einem t-online Konto abrufen.
Wenn ich jedoch statt übers LAN über ein UMTS-Stick ins Netz gehe bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung 0x800CCC90
Die "Modem" - Einstellung in den "Konten"-Einstellungen bewirkt nichts
Das Modem ist korrekt eingerichtet und funktioniert auch bestens mit dem Firefox/IE
Nur Outlook macht eben Probleme

Details:

Windows 7
Outlook 2007
UMTS-Stick von t-mobile
e-mail - Konto von t-online
Fehlermeldung 0x800CCC90

Ich habe bei meinen Recherchen im Netz zwei Threads gefunden die sich zwar auf mein Problem beziehen, aber es dort nie zu einem Ergebnis/Losung kommt kam.
Und zwar wird dort erwähnt/behauptet/vermutet das ich NUR auf das t-online - e-mail-Konto zugreifen kann, wenn t-online der ISP ist.
Da der Stick (und auch die Karte) von t-mobile ist dürfte es doch selbst wenn es so währe kein Problem sein, oder? Telekom == Telekom?

ps.: Die vom MS-Support beschriebenen Ursachen sind ausgeschlossen.

Würde mich sehr über ein paar Tipps freuen.

Kannst du mal bitte das Log einschalten und hier dann posten? Kannst es gerne zensieren, falls da sensible Daten drin sind.

Start OL->Tools->Options->Other->Advanced->select "Enable logging" checkbox->OK and restart OL

Log file locations: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\Opmlog.log

Bitte schalte das Log danach wieder aus, damit du dir damit nicht deine Festplatte voll schreibst.

Also was mir auffällt ist, dass du als Eingangsserver scheinbar pop.t-online.de verwendest, laut der FAQ von T-Online es aber popmail.t-online.de sein müsste.

Was mir auf der FAQ Seite nicht so ganz klar rübergekommen ist, war, ob man das von einem anderen Anschluss aus abrufen kann. Der Fehlercode 0x800CCC92 (ich weiß, du hast 90) legt aber nahe, dass dies nicht geht, oder du da noch irgendetwas vorher im Kundencenter freischalten musst (ggf. gebührenflichtig).

Das Problem liegt wirklich darin wie du dich ins Internet verbindest. Ich vermute du hast zuhause auch einen T-Online Zugang. Wenn du dich darüber ins Internet gehst, wirst du autom. am Radius-Server authentifiziert und wenn du dich dann zum Mailserver pop.t-online.de verbindest, sieht der Mailserver deine IP-Adresse, fragt den RADIUS-Server, wem diese IP-Adresse gerade zugeordnet ist und der RADIUS-Server antwortet mit einer eindeutigen Kennung des Users. Somit weiß der Mailserver dann, welches Postfach dir gehört.
Bei UMTS ist dies nicht gegeben. Dort gehst du ja nicht über dein T-Online-Account ins Internet und somit kann der Server pop.t-online.de nicht herausfinden, welche Mailbox dir zugeordnet ist.

Lösung:
Verwende, wie lightsaver sagt, die Server smtpmail.t-online.de und popmail.t-online.de. Melde dich dort mit deiner vollständigen Email-Adresse und deinem Email-Passwort an.

Hm.. das Ergebniss ist interessant - Wenn ich popmail eintrage verlangt er ein Passwort.

Inzwischen habe ich herausgefunden das man ohne Passwort seine e-mails abrufen kann, wenn man von seinem Hausanschluss aus agiert.

Es könnte also tatsächlich möglich sein, das ich
1. von "extern" popmail.* verwenden muss und pop.* nur in verbindung mit meinem Hausanschluss funktioniert, und
2. das Passwort falsch ist, aber niemand es bisher bemerkte weil es überflüssig war...

Ich werde dem jetzt erstmal nachgehen, vielen dank für deine Bemühungen.

Ja, es liegt wie oben genannt, daran wie du dich ins Internet verbindest.
Mit T-Online = pop.t-online.de (wegen Radius)
Ohne T-Online = popmail.t-online.de (weil kein Radius zur Verfügung steht)

Und vergiss nicht auch die SMTP-Server abzuändern, sonst hast du beim Senden von Mails daselbe Problem.

Das Email-Passwort musst du in deinem Kundencenter explizit setzen soweit ich weiß. Ich kann dir leider gerade nicht sagen wo, da ich kein T-Online-Kunde bin.

So..
mit den popmail-servern hat's funktioniert.
Obwohl das Passwort zwar richtig war, habe ich es nochmal erneuern müssen... Bin im servicecenter also auf Passwort ändern gegangen und habe das selbe passwort gewählt... Irgendwie komisch, aber jetzt funktioniert
