Beim scrollen auf Seiten wie dieser hier, steigt die Systemauslastung auf 100% und Opera 9.62, sowie Firefox 3.0.3 lecken beim scrollen. Komisch nur, dass ich diese Spezialeffekte aktiviert bekomme. Auch wenn ich leider nur zwei Desktops habe und nicht den tollen Würfel. Was kann ich tun? Google hilft kaum... Ich habe gelesen eine Installation der Treiber von Intellinuxgraphics wäre möglich. Nur ich weiß nicht welche Komponenten ich benötige. Im Wiki steht, es seien wohl alle Intel Karten vertreten.... Woher weiß ich, ob meine auch erkannt wurde? Ist meine vlt. eine die nicht unterstützt wird?!?! | Moderator   Registriert seit: 30.09.06   Likes: 441 |  Welchen Graphiktreiber verwendest du momentan? Im übrigen würde ich einfach mal die 3D-Effekte des Desktops ausmachen. Die fressen 1. unnötig Last und könnten 2. das Problem sein, da Intel-Mobile-Karten nicht alle verwendeten Grafikfunktionalitäten unterstützen. Achja... es heisst das Lag (englisch für Nachhinken, Verzögerung) und nicht das Lecken. Sind zwei grundverschiedene Dinge.

Ich habe ubuntu 8.10 installiert und seither bin ich blutiger Angänger... Wie kann ich dir diese Information geben? btw. die Grafikeffekte sind bei Windows XP auf diesem Notebook auch aktiv gewesen und es funktionierte, zumal XP ja viel mehr Resourcen frisst als ubuntu.... Oder denkst du das ubuntu mehr benötigt las XP? 3X!_d0S Screenshot: Ich scrollte, ohne 3D-Grafikeffekte, zweimal über ubuntuusers.de Forum, was man auch ganz deutlich sieht..... |

| Moderator Registriert seit: 30.09.06 Likes: 441 | Welcher Grafiktreiber verwendet wird, kannst du der Datei /etc/X11/xorg.conf entnehmen. Und sonst gilt... Linux ist nicht Windows. Nur weil Windows Pseude-3D-Effekte nutzt und Linux "echte", muss es unter Linux noch lange nicht funktionieren. Die Ansteuerung der Grafikschnittstellen ist von Grund auf verschieden und die wenigsten Linux-Treiber liefern die Funktionalitäten der Windows-Treiber. Versuch's halt einfach mal ohne 3D-Effekte.

Ergebnis: Code: glxgears 3412 frames in 5.0 seconds = 682.231 FPS 3521 frames in 5.0 seconds = 704.117 FPS 3515 frames in 5.0 seconds = 702.898 FPS 3450 frames in 5.0 seconds = 689.842 FPS 3515 frames in 5.0 seconds = 702.857 FPS Da ja nun der eigentl. | Moderator Registriert seit: 30.09.06 Likes: 441 | Wenn der Treiber aus der xorg.conf nicht installiert wäre, würde X garnicht starten sondern was von "Unknown Screen" auswerfen. Also bleiben eigentlich nur die 3D-Effekte als Fehlerursache. Hast du es mittlerweile mal ohne probiert? Sind ausserdem alle installierten Pakete aktuell?

EndSection Was ich meine, bitmuncher, ist, dass es vielleicht so ein Standart-VGA Treiber ist. So etwas kenne ich von Windoze, hat Linux sowas auch? Komisch ist zudem, dass alle Leute um mich herum, sowas an 3000 FPS bei glxgears haben.... Daher sind 700, trotz Intel-Karte, etwas abstrakt niedrig. O_o Zudem hat sich an der CPU-Auslastung, beim bloßen scrollen in Opera 9.62, nix geändert, was man am Screen sieht, ohne 3D-Effekte. Ist überigens vergleichbar mit oben, da war der Screen auch ohne 3D-Effekte. Ich glaube nämlich, dass das so ein Standart VGA-Treiber ist, der sehr CPU lastig arbeitet. Daher meine Frage, woher man das erfahren kann, was genau denn nun für ein Treiber installiert ist. ThX 3X!_d0S |

| Moderator Registriert seit: 30.09.06 Likes: 441 | Wenn in der xorg.conf der intel-Treiber eingetragen ist, dann nimmt er den auch und verwendet nicht einfach irgendeinen beliebigen anderen. Es gibt zwar mit 'vesa' einen Quasi-Standard-VGA-Treiber, aber dieser wird nur verwendet, wenn kein Treiber in der Konfiguration spezifiziert ist und kein passender anderer Treiber gefunden wird. Ist ein Treiber in der xorg.conf eingetragen, der nicht verwendet wird/werden kann, dann beendet sich der X-Server mit einer entsprechenden Fehlermeldung. Du kannst also davon ausgehen, dass Linux das tut, was du ihm sagst. Alternativ kannst du auch in die /var/log/Xorg.0.log schauen ob dort irgendwelche Meldungen drin sind.Beim Upgrade reicht ein dist-upgrade übrigens nicht aus, wenn du nicht vorher ein 'sudo apt-get update' gemacht hast um die Paketliste mit den Repository-Servern zu synchronisieren. Langsam wird's aber seltsam, wenn du wirklich alle 3D-Effekte ausgeschaltet hast und das Problem immernoch existiert. Schau mal in der besagten Log nach irgendwelchen Warnungen, die ggf. die Ursache sein könnten. Code: grep "II" /var/log/Xorg.0.log grep "EE" /var/log/Xorg.0.log

| Moderator Registriert seit: 30.09.06 Likes: 441 | _Jede_ Grafikkarte für PCs hat einen VESA-Modus, der z.B. für den Bootscreen verwendet wird. Der Treiber wird also lediglich korrekt initialisiert. Da du aber AIGLX laufen hast, musst du dich eigentlich auf einer Mobile-Intel nicht wundern, wenn es huckelt. Mit AIGLX-Erweiterungen hab ich selbst auf Thinkpads mit dieser Grafikkarte immer wieder solche Probleme. Daher kann ich nur nochmal wiederholen... mach _sämtlichen_ 3D-Kram aus und dazu gehört auch AIGLX, Xgl u.ä.. Touchpads werden im Zweifel als PS/2-Maus angesteuert. Deswegen funktionieren die bis auf wenige Ausnahmen immer. Andere Treiber braucht man dafür nur, wenn das Touchpad irgendwelche Spezialfunktionen hat (Scrollen durch einen speziellen Teil des Touchpad u.ä.).

| Senior Member   Registriert seit: 07.07.03    Likes: 7 | Denkt dran das in Ubuntu 8.10 die neue X11 Version mit automatischer Erkennung drin ist... und die xorg.conf nur provisorisch bis gar nicht funktioniert... Bei Problemen mit Geräten soll man sich an das X11 Team wenden und dazu nen Bug Eintrag machen... So das die dann in den Updates die Fehler beheben können... Das es unter Windows Super ging liegt an den auf jeden Fall funktionierenden Treibern, was ich aber komisch finde ist das er Grafische Effekte aktiviert. Was er ja eigentlich nur macht wenn er den passenden Treiber geladen hat der auch jene Unterstützt... so spontan würde ich sagen lass Ubu 8.10 wech und nehm 8.04 die macht deutlich weniger Probleme |

Ich meine ich brauche ja jetzt schon circa. 2 Monate, in denen nach und nach alles solangsam läuft. Ich meine ich will nicht großartig Linux schlecht machen, aber besondern benutzerfreundlich ist es wirklich nicht. Dies liegt jedoch an den Firmen, ich weiß, die kaum Treiber zur Verfügung stellen.... Das nützt mir nur nichts... Ich möchte lernen, ja, denn sonst würde ich mich nicht ganze ZWEI Monate mit dem System "herumschlagen", bei ABSOLUT geringem Erfolg! Es ist doch manchmal sehr schwer, bis aussichtslos, hier etwas zu erreichen, trotz das bitmuncher mir super hilft. Ich sitze zum Beispiel an meinem zweiten Notebook mit dem selben Ubuntu. Hier ist eine GeForce 7600 drin und das System, trotz AMD64 und 3GB RAM, ruckelt wieeeee sauuuu. Das regt einen natürlich tierisch auf, trotzdessen das Windoze (XP) perfekt läuft, versucht man bei Linux zu bleiben, es fällt einem jedoch erdenklich schwer.... bye 3X!_d0S |
