gzip/oddcast problem und frage

Hallo,

ich habe da 2 Probleme oder eher gesagt Fragen.

System:
Linus Suse 10.2 KDE
1024 MB RAM
AMD athlon 1800+
falls ihr noch wa swissen müsst bitte nachfragen.

1. Frage/Problem:
Ich habe gzip bei mir auf dem pc und will dateien verschlüsseln (mit pw) googlen hat mir nicht so viel sehr weiter gebracht, oder ich habe dort was übersehen.

2. Frage/Problem:
Beim installieren von Oddcast kommt folegende fehlermeldung:

checking for Ogg... no
*** Could not run Ogg test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means Ogg was incorrectly installed
*** or that you have moved Ogg since it was installed.
configure: error: must have Ogg installed!(Perhaps you need --with-ogg-prefix=/usr/local)

Für Tipps wäre ich sehr dankbar!

1: tipp auf ner shell mal "man gzip"
2: du musst ogg installiert haben steht da.. also installiers.. ich nehm ma an der meint damit ne bibliothek fuer ogg
achja und fuer ne genauere fehlerbeschreibung koenntes du die config.log posten.. steht da in dem error den du uns genannt hast

mit dem gzip muss ich erstmal lesen das kann was dauern, aber danke!
kann es sein das gzip gar keine datein mit pw crypten kann?


die bibliothek ist laut yast installiert..

ich habe mal die libogg-devel installiert..

nun bekomm eich eine andere fehlermeldung und zwar:

configure: error: Library requirements (mad) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

edit: ich gebs auf.. hat kein zweck jetz will der GTK vers 0.99

und mitn gzip gehtz anscheind nicht rar zu machen oder zips mit pws zu schützen

GTK ist aber installiert...
