Win98 .pwl Dateien

Hi,

ich habe einen Rechner mit Win98 bekommen und auf diesem sind Benutzer angelegt. Ich hab hier im Forum gelesen das die Passwört in einer .pwl Datei abgespeichert werden.
Nun wollte ich wissen ob es möglich ist daraus die Passwörter zu bekommen. Ich nehme an das es mit Bruteforce ziemlich lange dauern würde. Gibt es sonstige möglichkeiten die Passwörter aus der Datei zu bekommen?

währe dankbar wenn mir jemand weiterhelfen könnte.

Das Programm PWLInside (hier) nutzt Bruteforce.

PWLInside - the fastest program in the world which perform the following functions:
-Windows'3.11/95/OSR2/98/ME PWL-files passwords recovery by the brute-force attack.
-Windows'OSR2/98/ME PWL-files recovery using the external vocabulary.
-Gaining the list of all resources and passwords located in the initial PWL-file with the proper found password or using the /P key with the proper password.
-The resource passwords decoding for all enlisted operational systems from the registry saved as textual file.

PWLInside performs the password gaining 2-3 times faster than analogues due to Assembler machine language used for the programming ...
