Debian Bootparameter und X Server

hi leute!
gleich vorweg: ich hab die suchfunktion benutzt und nix passendes gefunden.
ich hab mir gestern Debian 3.0 Woody r2 installiert. dann hat der x server nicht gefunzt. jetzt hab ich die konfig so umgeschrieben, dass ich eine grafische oberfläche hab, das hab ich hingekriegt. jetzt hab ich aber das problem, dass meine maus und meine tastatur nicht funktionieren.

weiß vielleicht jemand, wie man mit bootparametern ohne grafische oberfläche booten kann?

und meine 2. frage zum X Server: ich verwende version 4, die xf86config is aber für version 3. sind die configs von v3 und v4 untereinand kompatibel?

Also ich verstehe leider nicht was du willst. Also du hast den XServer in der Version 4. Und hast mit xf86config oder mit x86cfg eine Konfigurationsdatei erstellt, oder? Dann passt deine XF86Config doch.
Wenn deine Maus nicht tut, dann hast du wahrscheinlich die falschen Einstellungen angegben. Einfach mal korriegiern.

Was meinst du damit das du ohne graphische Oberfläche booten willst. Meinst du damit das der XServer beim starten nicht mitgestartet werden soll?
 
ok, folgendes: ich habe den X Server version 4, aber die config wird für version 3 erstellt, das heißt X und XF86Config sind bei mir 2 unterschiedliche versionen... aber das is eh egal, weiß eh so ca., was ich korrigieren muss.
sorry, war vielleicht blöd erklärt von mir...

thx andy_lv, das hätt mir auch einfallen können :) mal schauen, ob das wirklich so einfach geht in runlevel 3 zu gehen

thx nochmal andy_lv, grafikkarte und monitor sind schon richtig konfiguriert... jetzt hab ich nurmehr das prob, dass meine maus und meine tastatur nicht funzen. hab meine usb maus mit adapter am ps2 angesteckt und meine tastatur hängt sowieso am ps2. hab jetzt alles so umgeschrieben bei den devices, wie es bei dir auch steht. es startet der kdm, aber ich kann keine eingaben machen, dh ich kann nicht mal den x-server abschießen.
bin schon verzweifelt, wisst ihr vielleicht noch was?

//edit: könnte es vielleicht sein, dass er die tastatur nicht initialisiert, wenn die maus nicht funzt? denn meine tastatur bekommt nach dem start des x-servers nicht mal strom. also es leuchten keine led's auf meiner tastatur. weiß vielleicht wer, was ich falsch mach?

//edit2: hab jetzt gelesen, dass linux probleme mit usb logitech mx300 mäusen hat, so eine hab ich nämlich... könnts vielleicht daran liegen? ich versteh immer nur noch nicht, warum meine tastatur nicht mal strom bekommt...
