der Postfix Mailserver + MySQL Datenbank...

keine Änderungen...

ich hab folgende ordner der UID und GID 5000 gegeben und jetzt lässt sich postfix erst garnetmehr starten...

/var/spool/postfix/private/maildrop
/var/spool/postfix/maildrop

könntest du mir sagen welchen usern diese Ordner gehören müssen? ^^
 
Zumindest die Meldung 'warning: connect to transport smtp-amavis: No such file or directory' sollte jetzt aber nicht mehr auftauchen. Welche Meldungen tauchen auf, wenn den Mailserver neustartest und welche, wenn du eine Mail an den Server schickst (z.B. von einem Freemailer aus und nicht vergessen vorher min. eine gültige Domain und einen gültigen User in die DB einzutragen)?

Der Test wie in dem Howto beschrieben hat bei mir übrigens nie funktioniert, auch wenn ich dieses Howto früher schonmal für einige Server eingesetzt hatte. Die richtigen Tests habe ich immer mit "echten" Daten gemacht und einem Mail-Client gemacht, damit auch die Authentifizierung funktionierte.

Nachtrag: In /var/spool/postfix hat nichts dem User vmail zu gehören! Die Rechte müssen wie folgt aussehen:

Und beim Senden kommen nur diese 2 Meldungen? Kann ich irgendwie kaum glauben. Ausserdem sollte der Empfang mit einem "delivered to Maildir" enden.

Was mich hier aber mehr wundert ist die Tatsache dass dort steht dass das Mail-System nicht gestartet ist ?!

ich hab die Berechtigungen nach deiner Vorlage angepasst, dann lies sich der Server mal wieder nicht starten...

Ich hab dann die Verzeichnisse den Fehlermeldungen not owened* entsprechend bearbeitet und jetzt passt ihm wieder was net:

wenn es dir etwas hilft öffne ich dir ein VNC-Server auf meinem lokalen Rechner, Dann kannst du darüber an die Serverkonsole ^^
 
Sorry, aber ich habe selbst gerade einen Mailserver einzurichten, der ein wenig mehr können muß als deiner (Sieve, striktes White-/Blacklisting usw.) und daher habe ich keine Zeit auch noch deinen fertig zu machen. VNC-Zugang brauche ich also nicht. Lass mal 'postfix set-permissions' durchlaufen. Das sollte den Fehler beseitigen.

Ich hab Postfix, sowie Sendmail bereits neu installiert...
Immer wieder die gleichen Probleme...
 
Hast du den Postfix bei der Neu-Installation auch mit --purge deinstalliert? Natürlich vorher Backup deiner Konfiguration machen.

inzwischen bekomme ich bei der isntallation (oder auch deinstallation) folgende meldungen, und zwar net nur einmal...

Deswegen sollte man solche "Experimente" immer erstmal auf einem extra Rechner machen und wenn die Konfiguration funktioniert, übernimmt man sie einfach. Hätte aber nicht gedacht, daß du so schnell aufgibst. Das getcwd-Problem sollte sich übrigens mit einem simplen Neu-Login lösen. Mailserver sind halt ein Ding für sich und die Fehler-/Logmeldungen "gewöhnungsbedürftig", wobei ich mit dem von dir genutzten Howto eigentlich nie Probleme hatte.
 
Tatsache ist aber dass ich jetzt schon geschlagene 4 Tage versuche das Teil zum Laufen zu kriegen und es ums verrecken net funktionieren will...

Einen 2. Unix-Rechner zum experimentieren besitze ich nicht, nur meinen Heimserver an dem ich aber garantiert nix rumfummel, da der so wie er eingerichtet ist (mit Unix-Usern) für meine Zwecke (nur Netz-intern) ausreicht und einwandfrei funktioniert...
 
Nunja, an meinem ersten Postfix-Courier-MySQL-Server saß ich auch knapp eine Woche. Logge dich einfach mal neu ein, damit dein getcwd-Problem verschwindet, restarte den Postfix nochmal und schau, ob es immernoch Fehlermeldungen beim Start gibt. Im Normalfall sollte das Fehlen der dict_ldap.so kein Problem sein. Ansonsten mal die Postfix-Erweiterungen postfix-ldap und postfix-pcre installieren, die ganzen Manpages von postfix durch gunzip jagen und ggf. dorthin verlinken wo sie gesucht werden (von postfix set-permissions) und die von 'set-permissions' geforderten Dateien in /etc/postfix mit 'touch' anlegen. Dann sollte set-permissions auch sauber durchlaufen und deine Rechte-Probleme damit vermutlich gelöst. Ist zwar eine Menge Befehls-Getippe, aber aufgeben bringt definitiv nichts, denke ich. :)
 
na toll jetzt fehlt die dict_sdbm.so ...

ein entsprechendes Paket existiert nicht, zumindest hab ich keins gefunden, und ich hab grad alle verfügbaren Pakete für postfix installiert...
 
bei mir existiert solch eien Datei nicht,
und sorry wenn ich jetz sau dumm frag wie ich dieses Teil installieren kann, aber ich bin erkältet, mein Kopft dröhnt und ich bin "etwas generft" von diesem Server...

postfix-tls ist installiert...
 
Du hast aber schon nen Sarge am Laufen? Was gibt denn der gleiche apt-file-Befehl bei dir aus? (Evtl. nachinstallieren und die Dateiliste mit 'apt-file update' aktualisieren bevor du suchst.)
 
oh verdammt... hab ich ganz vergessen dazuzuschreiben.

Auf diesem Server läuft Ubuntu 6.06 (dapper), Sarge is auf meinem Heimserver installiert.
Naja Ubuntu und Sagre sollten ja aber nicht allzu große Unterschiede aufweisen... ^^

Der Befehl gibt übrigens garnix aus...
 
Ubuntu ist aber nicht Sarge und schon seit Version 5.10 nicht mehr kompatibel zu Sarge. Bei meinem Ubuntu findet er die Datei auch nicht, womit du also set-permissions vergessen kannst. Da bleibt nur die Postfix-Doku durchzugehen und die Rechte per Hand anzupassen. Das von dir gewählte Howto läuft meines Wissens nur mit Sarge. Bei Ubuntu solltest du dich eher an http://flurdy.com/docs/postfix/ halten.
