Linux auf Mac MIni

Hi,

hat jemand Linux auf einem aktuellen Intel Mac Mini laufen? Bei mir läuft gerade Debian Lenny. Nvidia läuft auch gut soweit. Weiss jemand etwas über WLAN, Bluetooth und Sound? Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass da mittlerweile was passiert ist - allerdings kann ich bei google kaum etwas finden.

I did not expect the 802.11g wireless ("Airport Extreme") to ever work. The Apple Airport Extreme module uses a PCI 802.11g chipset from Broadcom, and there were no specifications available to write an open-source driver for this hardware. However, some very dedicated people have set about reverse engineering the hardware and writing their own specifications. This then allowed a second team to produce an open source driver for Broadcom BCM43xx chips. This driver is included in recent linux kernels.

Er benutzt 2.6.9, dh der 2.6.26 von Lenny dürfte wohl unter "recent linux kernels" fallen. Dennoch gehts nicht:

Und die Kernel config schaut irgendwie nicht so aus als ob sie was brächte. Jedenfalls sehe ich nichts was sich auf diesen bc43xx Treiber bezieht.

Hi Eydeet,

danke für den Link. Ich hab leider herausgefunden, dass mein Chipset von dem Treiber nicht unterstützt wird:
