Hallo, ich habe auf einem alten Notebook (Toshiba 210CS) Debian Etch installiert (NetInstall Floppys+CD Treiber+ CD Image 1). Während der Installation lief PCMCIA.
Nach der Installation wird der PCMCIA Slot nichtmehr erkannt, cardmgr meldet "No PCMCIA device in /dev".
Also das ganze PCMCIA Subsystem wird nicht gefunden
demzufolge auch keine Karten erkannt.habe schon probiert das mit irgendwelchen manuell geladenen Modulen zu fixcen aber ich denke das Problem sitzt tiefer, offensichtlich wird nichtmal mein PCI System erkannt (s.u.)

Tja PCI und ISA PNP Probleme, was macht man da nur? Beim Installer funzte doch auch alles und der hatte doch auch diesen Kernel. Aber ich weiß wiklich nicht wo ich da anfangen soll
